DCP Debates: Did Mandy Moore Rip-Off DCP?

Every once in a while we come across a product that looks eerily familiar to a past DCP creation.  We first saw it with our “I Love Schenectady” shirts that showed up on Cafepress and elsewhere.  Recently, it appears that Mandy Moore stole a DCP original design.  The artwork was custom-designed for a local fundraiser.  It appears Ms. Moore coincidently came up with almost the exact same design!  You be the judge:

On Mandy’s website for “Nothing But Nets you’ll notice the image of the mosquito over the “BUZZKILL” text.  Considering DCP owner, Ben Sadler, came up with the original concept of the mosquito over the text nearly two years ago, it is a bit ironic to think that Nothing But Nets recently came up with this strikingly similar design on their own.

If you need a closer look at the shirt, here is the Nothing But Nets charity shirt. (image right)

Is her creativity as bad as her acting?  Or does charity always get a free pass?  Let us know what you think!
