On This Day: National Umbrella Day

Fonzworth BentleyToday is one of those holidays we hope that we don’t have to celebrate.  At the same time, it doesn’t hurt to give thanks to those nifty little accessories that keep up dry, our hair in place, and make walking in groups awkward.  Celebrate this day for every time you’ve been stuck sitting behind someone at a baseball game after they bust out their obnoxious over-sized umbrella.  Celebrate this day because it helped make Fonzworth Bentley a celebrity.  And celebrate this day for every time you’ve tried using an umbrella on a windy day.  We just hope you don’t need to celebrate because the weather today calls for it!
