On This Day: Middle Name Pride Day

George W. BushYou may rarely use it.  You may be embarrassed by yours.  You may have two.  You may have none.  Regardless, March 11th is Middle Name Pride Day.  Beyond just another space to fill out on legal documents, a middle name may have a number of meanings.  Close friends and relatives often receive middle name recognition.  It’s not unusual to encounter an “old lady” or “old man” middle name – the names of grandparents that nobody would dare name their newborn child these days.  Normally just another identification measure, today is a day to honor your middle name.  Middle names carry an important distinction.  Just ask George W. Bush!
