On This Day: Drowsy Driver Awareness Day

Drowsy Driver Awareness DaySometimes you need to hear it straight from the source!  The team at Downtown Printwear thought it was only fitting for me to post on Drowsy Driver Awareness Day since I’m notorious for my early morning and late evening commutes between Boston and Schenectady.  We all get tired, but there are a number of things you can do while driving to protect yourself and other drivers.  First, if you are too tired to be driving, get off the road!  Pull into a well-lit rest area and take a 1-hour nap.  You’ll feel surprising rejuvenated.  Don’t forget the obvious ones: coffee (or Red Bull if you’re like us), crank the radio, crack the window, and have a jam sesh.  That’s right, jam out while you’re driving.  People will look at you like you’re ridiculous, but it sure beats running them off the road if you fall asleep behind the wheel!

About "Downtown" Dan

“Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinion drowned your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” – Steve Jobs View all posts by "Downtown" Dan
