On This Day: Hug Your Cat Day

Hug Your Cat DayIt’s no secret that we’re dog-lovers over at DCP, but cats need some lovin’ too!  May 24th is Hug Your Cat Day.  If you’re going to own a cat, we at least hope he or she is awesome.  Otherwise cats are pretty boring and only good for catching mice and bringing home the occasional “mystery” gift.  Nonetheless, we have reserved May 24th as a day for cats.  Dogs can’t have the upper hand every day you know!

World Graphic Design DayOtherwise known as World Graphics Day, April 27th is the anniversary of the founding of Icograda (International Council of Graphic Design Associations).  The holiday serves to recognize professionals in graphic and communication design.  Where would we be without graphic design?  The world would be a pretty boring place and the advertising industry would be lost.
